Who is Nooitgedacht Wild & Vleis?
We are a proud family business run by Juan-Pierre, Keith and Pierre Hugo. Nooitgedacht Wild focuses on the outdoors, responsible conservation and game management, while Nooitgedacht Vleis brings the same passion to the table through careful meat processing. Together, our businesses represent family, hard work, integrity and a genuine love for nature.
Where are you based?
We are based in Wellington, Western Cape. This is the community and environment that have shaped us and continue to play an important role in our story. We are proud to be involved locally, build relationships and provide quality service to our community and clients.
How did Nooitgedacht begin?
The story of Nooitgedacht Wild began in 2017 as a dream inspired by a deep love for South Africa’s nature, wildlife and the outdoors. Nooitgedacht Vleis grew from the same family dream in 2020, focusing on quality, honest craftsmanship and personalised service in meat processing. What began as a passion has developed into two businesses connected by the same values: faith, family, integrity and respect for nature.
What makes your products and services unique?
We offer more than just a service or product; we offer peace of mind. We combine practical experience, expertise and personal involvement to provide solutions tailored to each client’s needs. From professional game management, wildlife capture and hunting services to meat processing, biltong and boerewors, we focus on quality, responsible practices and long-term relationships. For us, every project and every order is personal.
